Deeper Still Denver – Pt.1

I was so blessed to be able to attend the Deeper Still conference this weekend.  I am so upset that I didn’t bring my camera. I was only able to get a few blurry images from my phone.  I made the assumption that we would not be allowed to bring them into the event so I left it at home.  It also did not occur to me until I arrived, that there were several people I should have invited.  Because of my reclusive past, I am so used to having to do things on my own that I did not even think that there were people who would love to go.  My apologies to my friends.

Getting there…

I ventured out for what should have been about an hour and fifteen minute drive that turned into two and a half hours full of highway back-ups, down pouring rain and very unclear parking options.  I arrived with 5 minutes to spare, soaking wet and starving.  Standing in line for my overpriced hot dog, the music began.  I did not think the line would ever move.  I finally got my food, found a seat and settled in to watch Kay Arthur speak.   I was wearing a summer dress and sandals and the only seats available were under the air conditioning vent.  It was freezing, but Kay made it worth it. I am so impressed with her knowledge of the bible and her uncompromising standards.  I want to be her when I grow up.  I will post on each of the ladies soon.

Worship was incredible.  An arena full of women crying out to God, praising Him, loving Him, worshiping with all their hearts.  You could truly feel His presence in the room.
